This look is so cute! I would wear this outfit to work or a classy evening out. I tried to use pieces that were affordable to everyone. Tights are in this fall. I repeat tights not just leggings! Not only is this a classy look, but it is also timeless. What do you think? Would you wear this look?

Fall Wish List: Fringe Booties

First Series: Fall Wish List Fringe Booties! Okay so I will admit at first I was sooooo against booties, but now I am feelin em'. Let me explain myself. First off, I have long legs, long arms and a long torso. For some weird reason I thought that I couldn't wear booties because I am so long and the booties are so short. Ugh I don't know, whatevs. ha! Anyways back to the booties! These are just a few of the styles that I am loving! What do you guys think?

These are on sale and I am SERIOUSLY thinking about picking up a pair in the color Mocha.
Now these are similar to the first booties, but I like these because they are not so "cowboy" looking in the toe.

Jessica Simpson knows her shoes! These could be dressed up or down. Plus the fringe is in the back. Something different?

I LOVE these!

This is more of a subtle look and I am digging it!

OOTD: Studded Nautical

Dress: Ruby Rox {love this} {and this} // Top: Forever21 {out of stock but easy to find}// Shoes: Mossimo

 This outfit was so comfy and I can't wait to wear it again! This dress was an absolute steal! I got it for under $10 at Peebles. Which in my opinion is a somewhat expensive store for the quality of the clothing that they sell. Like I said previously chambray is my new go to style. Plus the weather here in Southern Indiana is still hot during the day and cool at night it is easy to unroll the sleeves if I need too. I also love this chambray because of the studs on the shoulders. Kind of gives this nautical look an edgier feel. What do you guys think?

OOTD: Holding onto Neon

 Top: by&by similar similar $24.99 // Jeans: Forever21 brand $15.00 // Shoes: Mosimo c/o Target $15.00 // Necklace: Rue21 12.99 {cheaper in store} // Purse: Bar & Bar {gift}
As much as I have been loving fall I still love summertime more. I mean fall is where my neon wardrobe goes to die along with the leaves. It is still so hot here in southern Indiana and it is hard to fall into fall without having to climb my way back out for a tank top. This is where I have found that these sheer chiffon shirts come in handy. I literally found this shirt on the sale rack at JcPenney and had to have it. Some how they had my size in every color so naturally I had to buy them all. {they were on the $5 and up rack, a steal I know} I love these tops because they are covering your arms yet they let the breeze blow through so you are not dying on your hike to class. During the summertime I usually paired this top with a lace short or a white short, but like I said I am transitioning. I paired this will a dark wash jean with white gladiator sandals from Target. Which at first I was not a fan of this type of shoe, but I have worn these more than any of my other "flip flops". This is a simple and easy look to pull of for class when you are in a hurry or not so much. What do you guys think about incorporating neon into your wardrobe this fall?

OOTD: Sweater, Leather and Cheetah OH MY!

Sweater: American Eagle $34.99 {similar} // Scarf: Apt 9 {quick this is on sale}$13.99 // Boots: Girl Mia {similar}$55

I am so obsessed with fall right now. Most likely because it has just began! Today I pulled out some of my fave pieces for fall the leather, sweater and scarf. These three pieces totally make fall, right? Leather is so in this fall and i am jumping on board! So far the only leather pieces I have incorporated into my wardrobe are my boots and jacket. I have both cognac and black leather boots and only a brown leather jacket. I know I am slacking. What an I say I'm super picky. I am loving the t shirts with the leather cap sleeves. I am going to have to pick one or two of those up in the coming month. I have also been wearing my cognac riding boots every chance that I get. Too much? Another fall staple that I couldn't live without is my leopard scarf.  I am in love with this scarf. It is so perfect. It is long enough to do all the cool scarf folding and it is sooooo soft. This sweater is a white/creme color with a tight but stretchy knit. I am loving light-weight sweaters, but my torso is long so I have a hard time finding them to really fit me well. The ones that are longer usually fit me about right and the ones that are squared..well that is just a no go. Light weight sweaers are perfect right now because it is still 80+ here in southern Indiana. It is what I like to call a transition piece.
 What are your fall must haves this year?

OOTD: Chambray & Cognac {rules of leggings}

I can't wait to wear this outfit again. It is so comfy and plus oversize shirts, leggings and boots are the epitome of fall outfits. I now have two "chambray" shirts. The first time I purchased a chambray top was from forever21 and had studs on the shoulders. As I started wearing it more I decided I needed something more versatile. {if you guys want I can post a picture of that} I don't know if you guys know this or not, but there are rules to leggings. The first rule of leggings is ALWAYS wear a shirt or dress that is covering your bum. The second rule make sure your leggings aren't see through. I hate when I am walking around on campus or out in public and see a girl wearing leggings, but you can tell they are "shear". So not cute. It also took me FOREVER to find the perfect boot. I was super picky because I wanted a boot that I could wear often and with different styles. I have cowboy boots, but I need a show with a defined heel, solid color and high rise. I am in love with these boots they are so comfy! I will definitely be wearing this outfit throughout the fall season. What are you guys excited to wear this fall?

Chambray Top// JcPenney // $24.99 //{I got mine for 15.99 on sale}

iOS7 Update

Okay so I am totally OBSESSED with the new iPhone update! At first I was unsure of the new design, but after the initial shock wore off I love it. Now that Apple has totally revamped the six year style it is more sleek and modern. One of the features that I am most in love with is the lockscreen! Like how cute is this! {yes I know 2% lol}

Not to mention my background is adorable! Another feature I am loving is the fact that some off the apps have a frosted window effect which also changes colors as the screen moves! The colors match up with whatever your background image is! Totally cute, right? The bottom navigation bar that holds icons like safari, phone, music and mail is also translucent.

I'm still working with the update and checking out all the cool new stuff! Apple has also added in features that the android had already featured in their past phones like the flashlight app. This allows you to toggle your led light on and off. This is helpful for those nights when your bumbling around to find your keys in your purse at night.

Another cool feature that is new is the fact that you can open a website on safari and choose to make it "app like" meaning that it will show up on your homes teen even if you're not on safari.

Yeah I know! I'm obsessed! What are you guys most excited for?

Beauty&TheBadge

Yes it's true! I'm back! After deleting my old content I have decided to start blogging again. Yes this blog will still contain fashion and beauty, but I will keep you updated on my life better.
I am now in my fourth and final year of college. Yay!, but more importantly a huge life event is about to happen! After three years Dustin has finally made the State Police. He has worked so hard and deserves every bit of it. Although, I am proud of him he will be gone for six months for the academy. That means I will not get to talk to him. State police training is very serious. No phones, no computers or anything! I would die! Wednesday he leaves for Indianapolis for the psych screening and then he will leave in November for the academy. We have not been apart for more than a week in the whole five years that we have been dating!  I'm glad to be back and blogging!
