So youre 23 and Married...

I've been on facebook a lot lately. Not by choice, but from pure boredom. This week I have been of from school and I've only worked once this week. Anyways, I keep seeing these two blogger's post about marriage and being 23. It's really annoying. Everyone keeps posting their opinions stating why they are right or why they are wrong. Who honestly cares! Different people have different things that they believe they should accomplish before they get married! Your bucket list may not be the same as the next person. Just because someone was married before 23 does not mean that they are inexperienced. Some 16 year olds have experienced more than I have and I am 21 years old. Before I get too deep I should state my point. Everyone is different. We are from different parts of the world and have different cultures. Life experiences that one 23 year old could have could be experiences that another 23 year old will never experience ever. So don't feel bad if you were married before the age of 23. Remember IT'S YOUR LIFE!
And no I am not married or engaged and I do not plan on it for a long time. Some of my friends are married and were married before 23 it's their choice. Who cares.

  1. Interesting Post! I disagreed with both post as well and I found them equally discriminatory towards the others personal choices.

I wrote an in depth response to the 23 Things to Do Instead of Getting Engaged Before You’re 23 and the response from The Result of a Close Minded 23 Year. My response takes a step back and does not approach these blogs from personal preference. It is meant to encourage young women to do what you think best fits you. My Response offers a no bias towards married or single women but it encourages woman to follow the right path for their personal choice.
